In Focus | DADAA (expired event)

The annual In Focus exhibition presented by DADAA at Midland Junction Arts Centre is a celebration of the creative outcomes of the workshop program at their nearby Midland Hub.

Guided by a dedicated team of experienced art practitioners, DADAA workshops provide all artists with the opportunity to develop their skills and grow their practice in fully inclusive studio and community settings. Skill sharing and collaboration factor highly in the program and artists are encouraged to experiment, work together and exchange talents across mediums.

The 2019 In Focus exhibition presents a work from all artists who participate in the workshop program. Featuring bold colours and expressive abstract forms, artists have worked in a wide variety of styles including painting, printmaking, textiles, and sculpture.

The exhibition not only showcases the talent of the artists in this annual round-up, but also celebrates the strong community surrounding DADAA, the benefits of being creative with peers, and for artists to work and celebrate achievements together.
