WA is proud to encourage the cultural expression and celebration of the human rights of lesbian, gays, bisexual, transgender, intersex, queer and all people of diverse sexuality and gender. Events such as Fringe World, Perth Festival, Pridefest and Perth International Queer Film Festival are held every year, amongst other independent performances, bars and community groups, all encouraging the engagement of diverse audiences and celebration of freedom, happiness and equality.
