Multiple Golden Guitar winner, Tom Curtain, is currently touring his national award winning horse and dog outback show, Katherine Outback Experience, through Western Australia. The family friendly event is raw and real and includes one hour of horsemanship and working dog demonstrations including hands-on fun for the kids, followed by 1.5 hours of live music by Tom Curtain, WA local Chris Matthews and special guests. Tom has over 25 years’ experience in horse training. Tom uses natural horsemanship methods to get the best out of each horse, discussing the psychology between man and horse during his demonstrations. He also has a team of working dogs of varying ages, temperaments and levels of training, and showcases how he trains them to roundup livestock live in front of his guests, providing an entertaining display of working dogs in action. Kids from the audience are also invited to help with training the dogs. The show is entwined with live music performances (some from the back of a horse) and is followed by 1.5 hours of live music and storytelling by Tom Curtain, Chris Matthews and special guests.
