The West Australian Circus Festival (expired event)

Nestled in the scenic Karri Trees of the National Forrest near Margaret River, a The West Australian Circus Festival is an experience unlike anything you have ever experienced before!

Held over two glorious days on the weekend of January 19th and 20th, the WA Circus Festival is set in the unique and picturesque surrounds of Karridale. The forest comes alive with the sound of whoops, whistles, and cheers as entertainment runs from the evening of Friday January 18th – Sunday January 20th. Shows, music, market stalls, and workshops will run from midday each day until midnight over the weekend.

The festival features an incredible line-up of international circus cabaret, comedy stars, and live bands from all over the world. Enjoy an authentic festival experience and get up close and personal with acrobats, aerialists, and sideshow superstars strutting their stuff on a stunning country estate. You can even try some circus classes if you’re brave!

This is like no other festival experience in the world. Daytime has some fantastic shows and entertainment for the kids, and once they are tucked in bed (camping facilities are available), the night-time entertainment takes a turn for the risque with cabaret sideshows not for the faint-hearted. Bars are open all day for those with a taste for our extensive selection of cocktails, spirits, and locally brewed beers and wines.
