The course comprises of rapids, winding sections of moving water, exposed & submerged rocks and ti tree obstacles. Transport: Posselts Ford is located at the end of Cobblers Pool road and is approximately 1 hour from Bells Rapid Park up Toodyay Road. Access for the event has been sought, with the required car shuffle planned via the privately owned railway access road. AIRE Flamenco Spanish Flamenco Tablao is returning to Lyric’s Underground following shows at Fringe World earlier in the year and a winter season at Lyrics underground in 2021. Lyric’s Underground will showcase the richness and variety of flamenco art on Sundays in July & August. The shows will include a free dance lesson and the opportunity to learn and participate in the flamenco art form that UNESCO has declared is a Culture for Humanity. Aire Flamenco dancers join featured guitarist Justin Kutylowski and percussionists Steve Richter & Marcus Perrozzi for an afternoon of Spanish music and dance. Dancer's Valeria Gonzalez and Maree Laffan will perform a selection of dances that showcase flamenco styles and regions in Spain. Description

Set in a high school in the 1990's where Mark is head over heels in love with his girlfriend, Queen Bee, Shannon Van de Witt. When Shannon learns that pop-band impresario Simon Austin is the surprise judge at the State Talent Show she dumps him for her chance at showbiz stardom. Mark rapidly goes from High School hero to High School zero. His garage band buddies rally around him and soon a plan for revenge is hatched to change their grunge band to a boy-band and snatch the Talent Show title from Shannon’s Candy Girls. There’s just one small problem... the boys can’t dance. Mark enlists the help of the ultra-talented, new girl, Ella to help with their boy band make over and sparks soon fly. Description

“What can you do?” is a phrase usually accompanied with a shrug. Disabled people hear this phrase frequently – from apathetic and dismissive doctors, hostile government staff, and casually throughout our ableist society. Megan Baker is an interdisciplinary artist based in Boorloo (Perth, Western Australia). Their practice explores identify and experience through video art, performance, textiles, sculpture and beyond. They have exhibited in group and solo exhibitions, prizes, and commissions, and were educated at Curtin University.

Belvoir St Theatre artistic director Eamon Flack adapted Ibsen’s Ghosts for a 2017 Sydney production – and now his second cousin Thomas Dimmick is directing the show in Perth. Regarded as a scathing commentary on 19th-century morality, Ghosts is the story of Helene Alving who is about to open an orphanage in her late husband’s name. Her maid Regine is helping to prepare things, Regine’s carpenter father has been working on the building and Pastor Manders is organising the paperwork. At the same time, Helene’s son has also come back from Paris for the occasion. Henrik Ibsen’s Ghosts plays at 8pm August 11, 12, 13, 18, 19 and 20 with a 2pm matinee August 14.
