Description

His new album and memoir tells the story of his struggle to find his identity, family and sense of belonging and how this led him to words and song to find himself. Through his memoir and album we follow Archie's life as a stolen child, teenage alcoholic, father, lover and eventually his struggle to keep going after the loss of his life partner Ruby Hunter and how he managed to get through this period of his life with resilient and strength of spirit. This long-awaited memoir is an intimate, moving and often confronting account of strong will and struggle but also tells audiences a great story of love, heartbreak, family, community, survival and renewal and most importantly, the healing power of music.

Speaking at one of two locations this December, Archie will be discussing with Lucky Oceans his unique story as detailed in his memoir.
