Hailing from Melbourne, Appalachian Heaven Stringband are Australia's finest tribute to the old-time mountain music of Appalachia, and brilliant exponents of modern Americana and original Australian compositions.

Fremantle locals Bluegrass Parkway, having played together for over 30 years, are the longest continually active bluegrass band in Australia. They place a great deal of importance on presenting bluegrass music authentically, performing around a single on-stage microphone. This was the norm for the pioneers of the genre during the 1940s.
