Description

Stomp, bop, swing or sway your way down to Dunsborough, Busselton and Margaret River in Western Australia’s south west on the first weekend in June to experience a feast of live music entertainment for the seventh annual Jazz by the Bay.

Guest artists from the northern hemisphere and closer to home will perform at the popular music festival (31 May to 3 June 2019). Artists include critically acclaimed Australian-American vocalist-composer, Chris McNulty; Sought-after Jazz trumpeter Ashlin Parker from New Orleans; New York-based jazz singer Nerissa Campbell, award-winning Afro-Peruvian drum specialist Daniel Susnjar, Perth swing favourite Adam Hall, sultry songstress Jessie Gordon, the versatile Cathrine Summers, the ever-popular Ali Bodycoat, exciting young jazz singer Holli Scott and more.

There’ll be music for all ages and a great selection of both free and ticketed live soul, rhythm & blues, big band, bebop and swing events at a range of great venues including wineries, pubs, theatres and galleries and even a cave, plus roving entertainment in Busselton and Dunsborough. Local, Perth, interstate and international talent come together to jam and jive and there’ll be music workshops and more.

As the Festival falls over a long weekend, securing accommodation early is recommended. Contact our accommodation partners Ramada Resort, Dunsborough Holiday Homes, AQUA Resort or visit margaretriver.com.
