This is a multi-discipline event in the Collie River Valley with the entire event starting and finishing around the picturesque Minninup Pool and finishing on the edge of the Collie township
The Collie River Valley’s iconic multi-discipline endurance event is back to see some of Western Australia’s most dedicated athletes battle it out.
This year is the nineteenth consecutive year of the competition, but only the third year to be held over two days.
All legs start and finish on the banks of the picturesque Minninup Pool on the Collie River, less than five minutes from the town of Collie.
Saturday features the long-course five-stage marathon relay and includes cycle, canoe, swim, mountain bike and trail run legs that can be completed as a team or as an individual iron-man event.
Sunday’s action includes the Bendigo Bank Short Course Race, with a trail run and mountain bike legs and an optional canoe leg, as well as the Premier Coal Junior Adventure Race for kids aged 12 years and under.
Categories include male and female ironmen, open teams, female teams, veteran teams, super veteran teams, juniors and business teams.
There is $3000 in prize money up for grabs.
Free for spectators. Food and drinks are available for purchase.
