Perth's exciting new Baroque ensemble, HIP Company, presents an evening of Early Music for Christmas time, in their first concert since their critically acclaimed launch.
An elegant evening of Early Music for the festive season. HIP Company is an exciting collective of young professional musicians from Perth, Western Australia, who specialise in the performance of seventeenth- and eighteenth-century music on historical instruments. 'They are young, personable, and they make beautiful sounds...this is a very suave outfit that has arrived on the Perth stage.' (Seesaw Magazine) Bonnie de la Hunty (soprano) Sarah Papadopoulos (violin) Krista Low (cello and viola da gamba) Featuring special guest artists Aidan Deasy (lute) and Eliza McCracken (violin) Join us as we journey through the Christmas story with festive trio sonatas by Corelli and Handel, brand new arrangement of favourite traditional carols, and some lesser known gems of the Baroque era.
