Variety WA

Variety WA is all about empowering Western Australian children who are sick, disadvantaged or have special needs to live, laugh and learn.

    Details

      Description

With the help of dedicated volunteers, and generous individual and corporate supporters, Variety offers freedom, care and a future to WA kids in need through grants of tangible items to individual children and families, as well as the funding of major projects for children’s hospital wards, special schools and other children’s support groups.

Variety WA began in 1980 and, since then, has raised and given away more than $20 million to enrich the lives of children in need. Funds are raised each year through a range of unique events including the iconic Variety Bash, Variety Bike Run and Variety 4WD Challenge, as well as the quirky Variety Santa Fun Run, many generous corporate sponsorships and individual donations from the community.

Variety WA operates with a small but dedicated team of staff in our office in Victoria Park, with volunteers spread throughout the state. Our Midwest, Pilbara and Goldfields branches, located in Geraldton, Port Hedland and Kalgoorlie respectively, are largely volunteer run, with local supporters and donors raising funds to deliver help back to local children in need.
