Located behind the Town Hall and right in the middle of town this park is home to the Sandakan Memorial which honours those prisoners of war who lost their lives in the Borneo Death Marches in WWII and offers:- free BBQ; access to power point and water; gazebo shelters; picnic tables; a large playground under sails; skateboard rink; three hologram sculptures; open parkland; access to toilets behind the Town Hall.
