Hayman Theatre at Curtin University

Theatre Arts at Curtin University is Western Australia’s longest running tertiary theatre programme, providing training for Western Australian theatre makers since 1973.

      Description

Students at Curtin study a range of units that build the theatre maker’s toolkit exploring approaches to acting, devising, dramaturgy, directing, movement, voice and technical theatre.

Operating out of the ‘new’ Hayman Theatre, a flexible 50-90 seat theatre space that replicates industry standard equipment in all technical departments, the on-campus Hayman Theatre Company produces well over 100 performances a year.
