Andy talks about both his own work and that of the 'Prisoner' in their current exhibition 'Untitled'.
The public are invited to take part in a wider conversation examining societal attitudes toward the incarcerated.
The 'Prisoner' is an artist and Masters Candidate currently incarcerated long-term in a WA prison. He was a finalist for the Fremantle Print Award, the National Works on Paper Prize, the South Perth Emerging Artist Award and the Albany Art Prize.
Andy Quilty is a lecturer in Fine Art at UWA, and Program Patron for the Military Art Program Australia. He was a finalist in the Hazelhurst Works on Paper Prize, Albany Art Prize, Joondalup Invitation Art Award, Black Swan Portrait Prize and many more...
