Albany International Folk 'N Shanty Festival (expired event)

A salty and salubrious weekend of shanty and sea song singing, Albany plays host to the first official “shanty” festival in Australia.

The world-renowned Kimber’s Men from the UK join no less than seven local and visiting shanty groups and set sail on a weekend of song. From the Amity replica to the pubs and open spaces of Albany, from the boat shed to the whaling station and beyond, revel in free entertainment spread around the beautiful Princess Royal Harbour.
