Meet the Artists: Morning Tea | 11am – 12pm
A morning tea is a great way to start a weekend, but the best way is to join one at PICA with some incredible exhibition artists. Help us welcome artists and celebrate the opening weekend with tea and cake kindly catered by La Veen.
Welcome to Balardong: Storytelling | 12pm – 2pm
A storytelling session with Audrey Narkle Nettle and Tracey Kickett sharing their experiences growing up in and around Western Australia’s oldest inland town, from childhood anecdotes and memories of family to everyday acts of resilience in the York township and on the reserve.
Artist Floor Talks | 2pm – 4pm
Art through the voice of the Artist! At the end of the day PICA delivers a comprehensive lineup of exhibition artists ready to share deep insights to their work. These incredible artists include Chou Yu Cheng*, Jao Chai-En*, Pilar Mata Dupont, and local artist Sharyn Egan.
