The 10th Light Horse Story at ANZAC Cottage (expired event)

At our next Open Day, the Friends of ANZAC Cottage salute the legendary 10^th Light Horse Regiment as designated in October 1914.  The only AIF light horse unit to be raised in Western Australia, the regiment went on to win renown and respect through their members’ extraordinary bravery and skill.  Sadly many of its men and their horses did not survive the war.  On Sunday, October 6 at ANZAC Cottage, Phil Sullivan, military historian, will discuss this iconic regiment, its men and its horses in talks at 1:30pm and 2:45pm.
