The Augmented, a brand new performance created by Michael Barlow in collaboration with Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts performance makers, shows that puppetry is not just for kids.
Take a speculative leap into the future and imagine a new vision of the changing nature of humanity. The Augmented investigates ideas around Artificial Intelligence and evolution, using object theatre and figure-based puppetry. Does the prospect of AI excite and chill you? Find out on this journey into the shifting definition of what it is to be human and 'real'.
