Fringe at the Freo Big Top (expired event)

Bask in the glow of the fairy lights, sip a drink from the Carnibar and soak up a balmy summer evening in Fremantle before heading into the Big Top for evening of circus.

First up is Le Double Bill, two shows in one! “Get Fit with Jane Funda” will explore the challenges of a fluorescent 80s disco aerobics workout. Then, “Down.Rebound.” will take you on a journey of friendship, connection and the grit required to put on a show. Le Double Bill is presented by Simon Wood, Ben Kotovski-Steele and Cat Ranieri with support from the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries. After the lights, acrobatics and lycra of Le Double Bill, grab another round from the Carni-Bar and settle in for “The Fall, A Divorce and Peacocks”, Chloe Shadlow’s solo show about falling hard, spinal injuries and one woman’s audacity to bounce back. From Fluoro lights to fractured hearts, dynamic duos to daring women, Fringe at CircusWA’s Freo Big Top has got stories to share for all lovers of circus, determination, friendship and theatrics.
