Eva DuBivoir and the Quest for the Bloody Truth (expired event)

Events Feb 17 - 19

2 Wellington Street, East Perth, WA 6004

Description

Eva DuBivoir, a coming of age vagina, sets out on a hero quest, and meets MC Wiz- a woke AF menstrual cup. Using the power of bad jokes and team work they bring down Tampons Inc once and for all!

In this unapologetically cheesy panty-mime Eva DuBivoir, a young and impressionable vagina, sets out on a quest to find out what’s up with the creepy Tampons Inc she works for. Along the way she meets MC Wiz who turns out to be a woke AF menstrual cup, and once together they use the power of bad jokes and team work to bring down Tampons Inc once and for all! This fresh, funny, feminist six hand original contemporary theatre piece from Mandurah’s Riptide will have you learning- as you laugh- that whether you’re old or young, whether you bleed or not, menstruation liberation is the responsibility of us all. Inspired by writer Ruby Liddelow’s personal journey of discovering menstrual cups and going on a year long crusade to tell everyone she knew about them, this 50 minute riot including plenty of puns, period positivity, a few actual facts and a contemporary vagina ballet is perfect for young people 13-40, women, and people who know & love women… so anyone with an open mind and keen for a laugh. PG12+, infrequent strong language.
