    Description

Before making his way to Australia, Villa D’Este owner Enrico Moschetti travelled extensively through Europe, operating restaurants in Italy and Scotland. In 1994, he and his wife Elizabeth renovated a building in West Perth to create an enchanting, rustic-style villa, overflowing with Mediterranean charm.

More than a decade and a half later, Villa D’Este is still bringing a touch of Italy to appreciative diners and loyal clientele. The restaurant has won numerous industry accolades including Gold Plate and American Express awards and the highest Gold Plate tribute, the Prix d’Honneur.

Villa D’Este is named after an estate near Lake Como, north of Milan, from where Enrico’s family hails and continues to run
La Darsena Ristorante. His love and knowledge of Italian cuisine makes Villa D’Este one of Perth’s finest restaurants.
A woodfired oven and rotisserie ensure the cuisine has a rustic, authentic Italian flavour, while daily specials add variety to the menu.

For private functions and corporate lunches, Villa D’Este offers five carefully crafted set menus, and an extensive selection of local and Italian wine is available. The garden terrace lends itself well to business meetings, while the cosy atmosphere of the private dining room suits special occasions like birthdays and anniversaries.
