Housed in a former diesel workshop, the Stackwood community encompasses maker’s studios, an event space and a concept store.

Stackwood is a truly unique space to realise your event. Housed in a former diesel workshop in Fremantle, the space has been carefully renovated in keeping with its industrial legacy. The venue can accomodate a multitude of different events, from long table dinners, seminars or workshops to larger corporate events, weddings and private parties.

Stackwood is a 'blank canvas' venue, with two adjacent spaces available to suit your needs. The white washed brick walls and raw concrete floor of our large Main Hall provide the perfect backdrop to curate your event. This 220m2 open area features a high-pitched ceiling space with exposed trusses hung with festoon lights. During the day, large original windows provide a gentle wash of natural light to the interior.

Situated on the east side of the Stackwood warehouse is our conjoined courtyard and garden. This alfresco area features an edible garden, festoon lighting and spacious concrete levels which can accommodate a range of mobile catering services such as food trucks, caravan bars, coffee carts and more.
