    Description

Whether it’s because of their relentless commitment to fine food and wine or yet another barnstorming dinner and concert event, Friends Restaurant has never been far from the lips of the city’s foodies. But it’s not just restaurant-goers who restaurateurs Clyde and Lesley Bevan can cater to – function organisers are also well looked after as all of Friends Restaurant’s majesty and expertise are available for corporate and private events.

Whether the occasion requires an intimate table for two or booking out the entire venue, all guests will agree that the across-the-water views afforded by floor-to-ceiling windows ensure a memorable function. Now factor in the cooking of Andrew Barnes, former head chef at the two Michelin-starred UK restaurant Longridge, and an event here becomes a very delicious one indeed. In fact, the restaurant is the current holder of the Gold Plate for Best Fine Dining in Perth.

Degustation dining, where wines are matched with each dish, are one of Friends’ fortes and wine aficionado Clyde Bevan is keen to share his knowledge and the contents of his restaurant’s cellar with guests.  Good food, fine wine, great service and a spectacular view? That’s what Friends is for.
