Walter's sits on the beautiful riverside reserve with sweeping views of the Swan River making it a great spot for a family gathering with plenty of shade from gorgeous old trees.

Nestled in parkland at beautiful Point Walter Reserve and overlooking the sparkling Swan, Walter’s River Cafe is a wonderfully scenic place for all manner of events, from birthday celebrations to corporate functions and media launches. 

Or just imagine getting married here. The bride can arrive in style by boat and alight at the jetty, before walking down the ‘aisle’ at one of several lovely outdoor spots. For the reception, move inside to the Dining Room and Verandah, which can seat up to 120 people. If it’s a cocktail-style function, the Dining Room, Verandah and adjoining Terrace can hold 150 to 350 guests. There are sit-down set menus (two, three or four-course) with many mouth-watering options to choose from. Guests will have a choice of two main courses.

For cocktail-style events, platters of delectable hot and cold canapes are available. Or there’s the Substantial Bites menu, which offers slightly bigger meals that can be eaten standing up. For more informal functions, the Terrace BBQ menu, featuring various grilled options as well as fresh salads, is ideal.
