This courtyard garden in a Kings Park apartment block provides a fantastic entertaining space as well as doubling as an entry to the apartment.
The owners of this apartment courtyard commute between Perth and Thailand where their main residence is. The courtyard is the ground floor of a multi storey apartment block and the brief was that the garden should have a sub tropical feel but not try to copy any particular exotic destination.
The garden layers up with a series of platforms from the gate to the entry. The striking L shaped pond has large granite tablets floating over the water.
The garden has an abundance of subtropical plants and garden herbs, chillies and fruit trees.
