Dalkeith Garden

CultivArt designed this dynamic landscape which perfectly complements the architect designed home.

The brief from the owners of this Dalkeith home was to create a functional, yet beautiful family garden which incorporated a swimming pool and an area of lawn for childrens play. The house is situated on a corner site and it sits very close to the boundary at the entry side. The challenge was to also provide a welcoming and dynamic entry garden in a small amount of space.

The design of the garden echoes the simple clean lines of the single storey house. The entry, with its broad travertine clad bridge over a long rectangular pond provides a stunning entry to the home.

The rear garden, with its layered angled geometrym makes best use of the space.
