More than just a plasterboard, CSR Gyprock’s latest eco range is leading the way for green building practices.

As Australia’s environmental conscience develops, designers and specifiers are becoming increasingly interested in improving the sustainability of their buildings.
CSR Gyprock has always been at the forefront of green building practices – first with the Good Environmental Choice Australia (GECA) certified plasterboard, and now with the Gyprock EC08 range.
EC08 Partition, EC08 Fire and EC08 Impact provide designers of green buildings with the flexibility to specify different grade boards for different applications.
This can reduce the cost of achieving Green Star points because the premium fire, acoustic and impact resistance boards are specified only where these characteristics are desired.
EC08 Partition is the entry-level model, suitable for areas where fire resistance and acoustic properties are not required; while EC08 Fire is the original EC08 board, a fire-grade board with higher acoustic properties than standard plasterboard. EC08 Fire can be used in both wall and ceiling systems.
High-traffic areas such as education and health facilities will benefit from the fire and acoustic rated EC08 Impact board with impact resistance.
