      Description

The design of this abode reflects its location, just one house back from the Swan River.

Panoramic views are absorbed through glazing across the home’s northern aspect, while large balconies provide a place to sit and watch the river scene.

In line with the clients’ brief, the design incorporates energy-saving features – such as an underground water tank, solar PV panels, natural ventilation, access to winter sun and appropriate shading for summer.

Rooms have been organised to suit the owners’ lifestyle, with guest rooms provided on the ground floor and private quarters on the upper levels.

A sense of the outdoors is created through landscape elements that filter through the home, including a tranquil pond and waterfall that can be viewed from all levels.

Finished in white off-form concrete, complemented by clear glass balustrades, the home has a sleek contemporary look that sets it apart on the streetscape.
