Pier St Residence

Through the recycling of an existing slab and masonry shell, the new build was reduced in this extensive renovation to an existing duplex to create two new dwellings stepping up the steep limestone slope. This project affords both family dwellings, valley views, abundant natural light and ventilation. Although synchronized in designed, each dwelling responds individually to the original bones of the duplex half and the needs of its occupants and achieves its own identity.
