      Description

This two-storey 613sqm Cottesloe home is on a section of street not afforded the usual luxury of the area’s ocean or parkland views.

It was therefore important for inward reflection to allow the interiors to provide a sense of place.

Simplicity and proportion are the overriding design influences.

The large floor-to-ceiling glazing elements function to contain the internal environment as well as engage the exterior private courtyards.

The living spaces occupy the lower floor with a study, kitchen, meals area, family lounge and laundry all with views of the tranquil fish pond.

A gym with adjacent powder room offers flexibility and can be an extra bedroom if needed.

The upper floor accommodates four bedrooms, with the elegant master suite in a separate area for zoning priority and acoustic privacy.
