Hotel Northbridge is a unique property steeped in history. Built in 1898, the hotel was established during the boom of the gold-prospecting era with proceeds from the discovery of one of Western Australia’s largest gold nuggets, named the Golden Eagle.
Visitors enjoyed 18th century hospitality while their faithful steeds were attended to by onsite stable hands, ready for another day’s travel.
In November 1999, the owner and developer completed his innovative vision of restoring the Hotel’s heritage-listed features, including the resurrection of the original balcony.
Today, the four-star boutique hotel boasts modern facilities and slick service, with luxuriously appointed studio-style rooms, each featuring a double corner spa to relax in.
With the beautiful Hyde Park just a short stroll away, the Hotel is popular for weddings, and its Scarlet Room is the perfect setting for receptions. Situated on the ground floor, it seats up to 100 guests or can accommodate up to 150 cocktail-style. The Scarlet Room also has a private bar, which can be opened for your guests.
Chime Restaurant can provide an elegant yet casual setting for a function of up to 50 guests, and also offers alfresco dining. Tempt your taste buds with selections of Cajun cuisine and a fine selection of wines.
The Fuse Bar at Hotel Northbridge has an informal atmosphere, with different events held during the week. Choose from an excellent range of tap beers, premium spirits and Australian wines.
