Perth Venue - Dux Cafe Restaurant

An iconic South Perth and Como establishment, the Dux offers a seasonal, sustainable dining experience with an eclectic, culturally inspired menu.

Owners David and Sheryn Alexander have run Dux for 11 years, with David
as head chef and Sheryn managing front of house.

The point of difference in Dux's style is its commitment to the homegrown, locally sourced and sustainable. Sheryn's dad (Pops) produces food from his veggie garden, which is picked and washed daily. All other fruit and veggies are sourced from local growers and suppliers.

The meat at Dux is also sourced locally; chicken and pork are all free range, and the beef is of the highest quality, from small farms using sustainable practices.

By day, Dux offers a casual, relaxed cafe vibe, where locals feel welcome and at home. By night, it is transformed into a high-class dining establishment.

Its affordable dining space is available to groups of 40 or more, who can hire the entire venue to themselves. Long timber tables provide a sit-down dining experience, with relaxed cloth chairs and bench seats.

The other option is to go cocktail style, where many more people can be accommodated in the space (up to 130 guests). Great artwork creates a modern atmosphere around the dining area.

Dux specialises in wedding receptions, degustation events, birthdays, cocktail functions, sit-down dinners (of up to 50 people), and corporate events.

Drinks packages are available for events, and Dux's specialty cocktails are definitely worth a try. A full bar is also on offer, with an extensive wine menu from around Australia and the world.
