After much discussion and uncertainty, it’s been confirmed that the annual Perth Royal Show will be going ahead thanks to funding support from the State Government. Plus, in a win for WA families who felt the financial brunt of the pandemic, tickets are 25% off for families and adults.

Featuring all the things we know and love, such as animal nurseries for the kids (and animal loving adults), show bags, rides, food markets and of course, the famous sky show to close out the night, the show going ahead is a real reward for WA’s efforts throughout COVID-19,

“Being able to hold the 2020 Perth Royal Show recognises the work we have all done in restricting the spread of COVID-19 across our State, and is a great achievement for all Western Australians to be proud of and celebrate” said premier Mark McGowan.

The show will have a particular focus on supporting and showcasing tourism, small business, arts and entertainment, non-for-profit organisations and other industry sectors which have been impacted. In an effort to boost WA’s economy, the show will include a pavilion dedicated to encouraging punters to plan a trip to regional WA and will feature daily performances from local artists.

This year’s Perth Royal Show provides an opportunity to enjoy a day out filled with family fun, all whilst celebrating one WA’s longest running and iconic community events.

The 2020 Perth Royal Show is being held from September 26 to October 3.
