Moving into the vacant space on Rokeby Road across from the Subiaco Hotel, a brand new gastropub has just opened their doors to the public. The aptly named Your Local is dedicated to supporting local WA breweries and wineries, so you can expect to see a rotation of eight hand-picked WA craft beers and ciders on tap at all times.
From light and crisp lagers to rich dark ales, each rotation is designed to showcase the breadth of WA’s fantastic brews. Some names you can currently find on tap include Eagle Bay Brewing Co., Beerfarm, Cheeky Monkey, Rocky Ridge Brewing Co. and more. If you prefer drinking big-name classics over craft beers, there are plenty of Australian and international bottled beers being served at the bar.
If you are not a beer-drinker, fear not! Your Local is also showcasing an amazing variety of wines from across WA and Australia, including small-batch and minimal intervention wines through to popular classics from big names. Sourcing varietals from Denmark to Margaret River to Swan Valley, Your Local is pouring some of WA’s best, as well as great wines from other Australian and international regions. For spirits, your local is stocking products from a collection of boutique distillers using natural ingredients from Australia and around the world. WA distillers that you might recognise include Old Young’s, Giniversity and Hippocampus.
Being a gastropub means that along with amazing beers, wines and spirits, there are also plenty of delicious dishes to be found on the menu. True to their name, Your Local sources fresh produce and ingredients from independent suppliers across WA. Local, seasonal fruit and vegetables, premium meats from Margaret River and seafood from Albany and the Abrolhos Islands form the basis for their current menu. With so many mouth-watering dishes and drinks to choose from, expert staff members are ready to talk you through different drinks and recommend perfectly paired foods to complete the flavour sensation.
Taking bookings for lunch and dinner, you can find Your Local’s doors open Wednesday to Sunday.
