Lucky Chan’s first themed bar effort Johnny Mo is getting a sequel: Breaking Bad themed pop-up bar, Walter White.

Named after the iconic character from Breaking Bad, Walter White will be themed like a chemistry lab; think steaming test tubes, lab coats and warning signs all around. Doubling down on the theme, the rooftop bar will be introducing a new themed drinks menu as well.

With cocktails like Pharmaceutical Stimulant, a mix of vanilla vodka, cacao, coffee on nitro, vanilla ice cream and miso caramel, as well as the Jesse Pinkman, a pink cocktail-dessert hybrid with strawberry vodka, lemon, vanilla and topped with cheesecake foam and gingerbread crumble, you’ll feel like you’re back in Albuquerque. Plus, as always, you’ll be able to order nibbles from the Lucky Chan’s menu.

Opening as Johnny Mo back in October 2020, the small rooftop bar is themed on a pop-up basis, meaning that Walter White too will be a pop-up only. Keep an eye out for the next theme announcement later down the track.

Walter White opens on Tuesday, February 9 from 5pm. Opening hours are Tues-Sun, 5pm-late.
