WA Day rolls around again on Monday, 6th June! Celebrate our awesome state over the long weekend with a variety of upcoming events and activities. From festivals to exhibitions, brunches and Sunday sessions, there's something for everyone this long weekend. If you're after some fun for the whole family to enjoy, check out these events that are sure to keep you busy.

WA Day Festival

Jun 6, 12pm - 9pm
WA Day Festival returns for a huge day of family fun. This year's festival will be bigger than ever, with a drone light show, live music, entertainment for the kids, and the awesome Wadjuk Dreaming experience!

See some of WA's best live bands on stage, featuring artists such as Eskimo Joe, Birds of Tokyo, and Supathick. A 500 drone light-show will be lighting up the sky, showcasing iconic stories and images to celebrate the state, accompanied by an epic Aussie playlist. Various food trucks and bars will be lined up, including a popular Gage Roads brewing with local beers and wines. There will definitely be something for the kids too, with a whole host of free entertainment and activities. Carnival rides, games, and activities will keep them busy for hours on end. Don't forget to check out the giant silent disco too!

Livelighter WA Day Family Fun Day

Jun 6, 10am - 2pm
Mandurah Performing Arts Centre is hosting a Family Fun Pop Up Day this WA Day, full of activities and attractions for the whole family to enjoy.

If you're thinking of heading down, book the kids in for an immersive audio experience, with Audioplay: The Turners, a free half an hour of action-packed adventure.  The session is equipped with a mobile phone and headphones, that encourages players to act out the story along with their own rich audio score and individualised instructions! A perfect mix of imagination, physical play and technology. Bookings are essential, so book in here to avoid missing out!

Carnival Fever

Jun 4-6, 10am - 5pm
Carnival Fever at Cannington Showgrounds will be running all long weekend. Full of stage shows, food trucks, carnival games, showbags and rides, Carnival Fever will have something for the whole family. Highly trained parkour athletes will be demonstrating their insane skills to wow the whole family, as well as professional wrestlers for the thril-seekers. We hear Spongebob and Dora the Explorer may also be around to meet and greet the kids too.

With rides fun for all ages, from the tea cups, to the Super Sizzler, there is something for everyone. Your ticket will gain you access to the carnival and gives access to unlimited rides. Book here for a day of carnival fun!
