Once again, the time to indulge in the iconic fruit-and-spice-filled hot cross bun is upon us...

Whether you prefer them lightly toasted, smothered with butter, or just as they are, Perth local bakeries are ready to spread the love and deliver to your doorstep this Easter.

La Belle Patisserie (Belmont)

This local French bakery have their freshly baked, classic and choc chip flavoured hot cross buns waiting to be devoured. Better yet, they are offering free delivery for all those who live in the Belmont / Cloverdale area. If this isn’t you, not to fret, it’s a $5 delivery fee for all other orders within a 5km radius. Mary Street Bakery (City Beach, West Leederville)

Mary Street Bakery never fail to satisfy all those sweet tooth cravings with their mouth-watering pastries and baked goods. This Easter is no different. While they have dozens of the traditional buns whipped up, opt for one of their alternative recipes, such as Choc orange hot cross buns.

Available for $2.50 each or $13 for a six pack, these goodies can be ordered through Uber Eats or for the Easter weekend, all baked goods can be delivered to your home for free (minimum $25 spend). So, order one dozen and your delivery is covered. After all, it’s going to be a long Easter at home this year. Their Highgate, City Beach and West Leederville stores will be open from 7am to 3pm.

If you thought you had to miss out because you’re vegan or lactose intolerant, you thought wrong. Dunn & Walton’s version of these palm-sized buns are certified organic and vegan friendly! Made with premium bakers flour, fruit, spices, coconut sugar and sunflower oil – there is no reason to feel guilty for indulging in the Easter goodness.

Plus, this Good Friday they are bringing Easter to you by offering local delivery to Doubleview, Scarborough, Woodlands and Innaloo. They hold strong that everyone should be allowed to get their buns while social distancing.

Miller & Baker (North Perth)

After opening only late last year, Miller & Bakers bakery are cooking up a storm for you this Easter. Made with love from their very own milled flour, their semi-sourdough hot cross buns are not to be missed! Choose from traditional fruit mix or choc chip and orange and for a $5 fee, have them delivered to your home located within the inner city (free for those within 1km and for orders over $50).
