Retreat Design was established in 2007 when the owners noticed there was a gap in the market for high-quality Italian-manufactured cabinetry.
Working with a range of clients, from home renovators and builders, to designers and architects, the award-winning company offers a complete turnkey solution for clients, with its manufacturing, installation, and project-management services.
Through its arrangements with world-class cabinetry manufacturers, the talented design team works to create innovative and exclusive designs within the specified budget.
The company also has access to an extensive list of suppliers of tapware, sanitaryware, sinks, electrical goods, tiles, and other accessories required to enhance a project.
To transform a tired and dated kitchen into the spectacular space it is today,
Retreat Design made use of contrasting cabinetry from leading Italian manufacturer Arrital Cucine.
The brief was to create a modern living area that provided an immediate ‘wow factor’ and, as usual, Retreat Design exceeded the client’s expectations.
Arrital’s Etherna white glass floating cabinets and Karisma Kerlite grey-clad cabinetry create this effect, along with a large stone breakfast bar in Caesarstone’s newest finish, Calacutta Nuvo. A matching stone-clad fireplace and storage plinth were also incorporated into the living room.
The breakfast bar is flush with the floorboards and has feature lighting to the splashback and underside for an illuminated finish.
Other features include a Nascosta stainless steel integrated rangehood, Miele appliances, KWC Eve tapware and a Steeltime stainless steel sink.
Plenty of storage space is a common request from clients when Retreat Design sits down with them to design their dream kitchen.
A renovation project, this large home in Hillarys was begging for an upgrade. The aim was to create a modern-look kitchen opening up to the living areas of the home.
To achieve this, the designer and client settled on Italian manufacturer Arrital’s AK 03 range of matt white cabinetry, and a clean and modern colour palette of white and grey.
Complimenting the sparkling white cabinetry, a 60mm island benchtop and splashback in Caesarstone’s Pietra Grigio was employed, with QStone Diamond White for the stove benchtops and Blum Antaro Drawer hardware.
Other highlights include fully integrated Bosch appliances and oven block, Artinox stainless steel sinks, and a state-of-the-art Evo pop-up power outlet.
