Baxter & Me

Through a no-nonsense narration of her own experience growing up in Australia, Leahy reveals the unique value canine family members have in shaping lives.

Favela Rising

A sensational and fine documentary moment, directors Jeff Zimbalist and Matt Mochary capture the internationally recognised AfroReggae movement that spread across the favelas of Rio de Janeiro. This inspiring documentary takes you on Anderson Sa’s journey to freedom.

Way of the Morris

Rob Curry and Tim Piester trace the evocative journey of Morris dancing, village life, folk music, culture and history. Set against the community of the Oxfordshire village of Adderbury, Way of the Morris illustrates the ancient roots of a tradition spanning from old Albion through to the 21st century.

Totem

A Polish crime film for those as hard as nails, Totem tells the story of two brothers involved in a drug deal. Minimalist, dark and gritty, Jakub Charon’s film is undeniably authentic, complete with menace and danger at every corner.

Grave Send

An edgy, darkly comic tale of four friends who are confronted with a problem arising during a hi-jinx. Directed by Salvatore Stabile, the documentary is a great 90’s true indie revealing the underside of the Brooklyn neighbourhood of Gravesend.

The Light

Filmed in Kalgoorlie, The Light begins as a nostalgic coming-of-age story detailing the lives of four teens in the small town. When a party goes wrong, the film quickly turns into a local thriller displaying a sick form of ‘justice’.
