The spookiest time of the year is fast approaching, and although staying home streaming horror movies on Netflix is a great option, if you’re a little past the trick or treat age but still eager to get your ghoul costume out, there are some scare-inducing Halloween events happening across Perth. Whether you are looking for something to do with the kids, or just want to hover it up on the dance floor, you’ll be sure to have a fang-tastic time!

Spooktacular!

Hosted for the first time at the Perth Concert Hall, join WAAPA for their popular annual Halloween concert Spooktacular! on October 31. WAAPA’s Symphonic Wind Ensemble will serenade you with spooky songs and symphonies, and in the spirit of Halloween, Eric Whitacre’s whacky crowd-favourite showpiece ‘Godzilla Eats Las Vegas’ will be performed. Expect a sea of ghouls, witches and foul creatures, as the performers wear hilarious costumes, acting out scenes on stage and using outrageous video and lighting. Tickets can be purchased here.

Caballitos Halloween Fiesta

If you’ve got it, haunt it at the thrilling Caballitos Halloween Fiesta! Caballitos are putting on an evening of wickedly good cocktails such as ‘Spooky Sangria’ and ‘Boos Buckets’, ghost pinata smashing, and fantastic prizes for the best dressed. Dirty Cabaret at The Mess Hall

Calling all Rocky Horror enthusiasts! The Dirty Cabaret troupe will be playing at Perth Mess Hall on Friday October 30, treating their audience to a fully interactive performance complete with weird and wacky songs from the 1975 Cult Classic. Dirty Cabaret is comprises of the multi-talented Manuao TeAtonga, and a host of gifted WAAPA graduates. Halloweekend at Little Creatures
