It's the most wonderful time of the year and if you're looking to get your Christmas shopping done, what better way than to go local. Perth has a whole host of bustling Christmas markets popping up in the lead up to the big day, so grab the family, don your Santa hat and get ready for some festive cheer.

Made on the Left 2017 Christmas Market

Perth Cultural Centre Saturday 9, Sunday 10 December, 10am - 5pm

Not content with bringing over 60 designers and artists to Perth Cultural Centre, this two-day extravaganza of all things Christmas also boasts live entertainment from Perth band Junkadelic, food and drink and lots of activities for kids. Run by not-for-profit organisation Made on the Left, this year promises to be one of the most fun-filled yet.

Subi Farmers Market Christmas Market and Twilight Market

Subiaco Primary School, 271 Bagot Road SFM Christmas Market: Saturday 9 December - 8am-noon SFM Twilight Market: Thursday 21 December - 5pm-9pm

This Saturday-morning local market gets all festive with two special events for the Christmas season. Catch all the local favourites in food, drink and crafts at the Christmas Market on Saturday 9 Dec and the Twilight Market on Thursday 21 Dec. Don't forget to grab all your Christmas fruit and veg from the local producers offering fresh, WA-grown goods. Live music, family fun and festive cheer, what more could you need?

Bazaar Christmas Market

Fremantle Arts Centre Friday 1 December – Sunday 3 December, 10am - 5pm

With over 50 local artisans selling their wares at Fremantle Art Centre, this three-day Christmas Bazaar is the ultimate place to find personal, hand0-crafted gifts. From jewellery and woodwork to fashion and ceramics, this festive event truly embraces the creative culture that Fremantle is known and loved for.

Joondalup Twilight Markets

Central Walk, Joondalup Friday 1, 8 and 15 December, 5.30pm - 9pm

Friday nights have never been so festive as the renowned Joondalup Twilight Markets return to Central Walk over the three weekends leading up to Christmas. Head out after work to browse the best in locally-made gifts and grab some grub from one of the many food stalls lining the streets.

Christmas Pop Upmarket Shop

Eric Street Shopping Centre, Cottesloe Saturday 9 - Saturday 23 December, 9.30am - 5.30pm

Local institution Perth Upmarket brings this one-stop Christmas pop-up shop to Cottesloe for two weeks leading up to the big day. Everything on offer from the 200+ craftspeople is WA designed or made, lending a truly local feel to find that unique something for that special someone.

Christmas Festival & Markets

Mindarie Sunday 17 December, 12pm - 4pm

What better way to get in the Christmas spirit than by checking out this market-by-the-sea which lines the boardwalk on Ocean Falls Boulevard. This is definitely one for the kids, with carollers, Santa's Elves and Miss Christmas Pudding on hand to entertain kids and grown-ups alike. Those looking to do some shopping will be spoiled for choice with over 30 artisan stallholders showcasing their goods alongside local street food stalls.

Curious Collective Market

City of Melville Main Hall Saturday 10 December, 9am - 1pm

As the name suggests, a curious mix of local wares can be found here, from vintage to novelty and beyond. 45+ local artisans and businesses will be showcasing their collections.
