If you’re looking for a convenient but elegant lunch overlooking the Swan River, The Reveley’s express lunch menu is a great option. Allow yourself a moment to indulge and unwind during an otherwise busy day over two delicious courses. Dishes include duck liver parfait, cured Ora king salmon, and Berkshire pork belly. Their express lunch will set you back $49pp and is available weekdays from 12pm to 2.30pm.

Apple Daily Bar and Eating House

Conveniently located in Perth’s CBD in the repurposed Print Hall building, Apple Daily serves up exotic Asian flavours designed to be shared with a group. Their menu features some delicious options such as grilled Linley Valley pork spare ribs and Massaman curry of slow cooked lamb shank. Their express lunch menu offers a choice of four mains, with a sticky mango rice pudding for dessert that will set you back $25pp. The express lunch is available Tuesday to Thursday from 11.30am to 3pm.

The Island at Elizabeth Quay

Serving fresh food on the waterfront, The Island is a staple eatery for visitors passing through Elizabeth Quay. Their express lunch has a set menu which includes house-made flatbread with dip, a salad with bruschetta, a choice of grilled salmon or chicken, and a dessert. As an added bonus, your meal comes with a glass of house wine or a middy of beer, all for $25pp. Pop by any weekday between 12pm and 3pm to satisfy your lunchtime cravings.

The Meat & Wine Co.

Housed in the heritage listed old Palace Hotel on St George’s Terrace, The Meat & Wine Co. has made a name for itself across Australia for delivering exactly what it says: great meat paired with an impressive selection of wines. When it comes to doing express lunch, The Meat and Wine Co. has you covered, whether you’re looking for one course, two courses or a hearty three. The entrees and mains have plenty of options to choose from, such as Szechuan calamari, salmon tartare, hot poke bowls and wagyu rump steak. For dessert? Your choice of strawberry crème brûlée or sticky date pudding. For one course, it’s $32pp, for two courses it’s $39pp and for three courses, $49pp. With the lunch menu available Monday to Saturday from 12pm to 4pm, there are plenty of opportunities to pop in.

Sentinel Bar and Grill

If you’re looking for somewhere both central and refined, The Sentinel on St George’s Terrace is a great option. Scoring points for presentation, The Sentinel takes inspiration from the bistros of France and the stylish eateries of New York City. Priced around the $25 mark, they offer two lunch dishes made for ‘office breaks’; choose between a steak sandwich and chips or a chicken Caesar salad. If you can spare a little extra time, opt for something slightly more decadent such as wild mushroom and truffle risotto, and end with a Belgian chocolate fondant. All mains cost $35 and two courses are $49.
