Delisio, the best pizza and pasta in Subiaco, reopens on Rokeby Road

It’s been 20 years since Raffaele (Raffe), fresh off the boat from Rome, opened Delisio in Subiaco, serving beautiful hard-crust pizzas and authentic cooked-to-order pasta. With options for dine-in, or takeaway, the customers at the Boardroom bar on Rokeby are grateful for the authentic Italian.

Raffe has finally made the move to a bigger and better venue, taking over the long-vacant site last occupied by Murray Gill of Wanita’s fame and his ill-fated fish and chip shop. Thankfully, the chef and the front-of-house team remain the same, dedicated to serving reasonably priced, authentic Italian in a simple but fun and friendly space. If you're stuck for choice over the many options to choose from, the staff are happy to help with the weekly specials.

With alfresco dining and concertina windows opening on to the street, it didn’t take long to get noticed and on their opening night, with no publicity, by 7pm, the 60+ seat venue was already packed and running hard to keep up with takeaway orders. While the liquor license is yet to be finalised, Delisio will continue to allow BYO. For lunch, drop in for their delicious pizza slices, served Roman-style, for when you don't want the commitment of a full pizza. On Wednesday’s, pop in for their popular $17 pizza night.

Delisio is open Monday to Sunday for lunch and dinner, and on Sundays from 5pm for dinner only.
