Whether it be for a quick bite or you opt to dine in, these regional bakeries (and their staff!) are full of character, charm, and guaranteed to make your experience at any township memorable. Yallingup Woodfired Bakery

Follow the smell of wood-smoke and baking bread to find your way to this local gem. Located just outside of Yallingup, you can pick up some certified organic sourdough or one of their infamous fruit loaves fresh off the woodfire every afternoon from 3pm. Don’t be surprised if you find yourself in a queue!

While they only serve fresh bread from 3pm, they're open morning onwards for all other baked goods.

Opening hours: Tuesday - Saturday 7am - 6pm, Mondays 3.30pm - 6pm and Sundays 8am - 12pm.

Margaret River Bakery

This small European-inspired café is located in the picturesque town of Margaret River. Known for its big breakfasts, extensive pastry rotation and fresh-baked breads, this quaint store is a must visit for a pick-me-up coffee or a tasty treat.

Opening hours: Monday to Saturday 7am - 4pm

Dardanup Bakery

A small bakery in the Ferguson Valley that is truly worth the detour for its flaky, homemade pastries and larger-than-life pies. You can enjoy your goodies in the quiet outdoor setting, under a willow, or pack some artisan wood-fired sourdough for the road.

Opening hours: Wednesday - Sunday, 8am - 2pm
