Embracing the relaxed, outdoor lifestyle of West Australians, this resort-style home strikes the perfect balance between luxury and easy living.

BURNS BEACH

A beachside lot of 560sqm was the perfect location for this two-storey, resort-style home.

Designed by Gary Brown and Alessandra Salomone from Manor Homes, this easy-living, relaxed property was created with ‘zone living’ in mind – perfect for families and easy to care for.

The brief called for an emphasis on indoor-outdoor relationships, with luxurious finishes, and separate, well-zoned areas, including a large, open-plan communal living area in a separate ‘pod’.

Three bedrooms plus a study are shared over two levels, with a separate adults’ lounge and fireplace creating the perfect retreat on the ground floor. Further adding to the grown-up luxuries, the master bedroom’s ensuite features a unique, resort-style outdoor stone bath, surrounded by natural materials.

Luxurious finishes are not limited to the adult areas alone – throughout the home, polished concrete floors were chosen for their lavish, modern appeal and easy maintenance. High ceilings promote a sense of space, and double-glazed and louvred windows satisfy energy rating requirements and cross-flow ventilation. A large timber sliding door to the front living area adds a real ‘wow factor’, while functionally creating a multi-use room.

This home epitomises Perth’s relaxed outdoor lifestyle without foregoing luxurious finishes and fittings that are easy to care for, affording the family more time to enjoy each other’s company.
