It’s December and Christmas is just around the corner. If all you want for Christmas is to throw on a festive jumper and sing like Mariah, then these Christmas Carols by Candlelight events are where you need to be.

Carols by Candlelight Cottesloe

Cottesloe Civic Centre Main Lawn

What better way to enjoy Christmas carols than as the sun goes down over the stunning surrounds in Cottesloe? Bring your own picnic and relax on the grass while you enjoy the festivities. Get their early to nab the best spots, as parking is limited on Napier and Broome Streets near Cottesloe Tennis Club.

IGA Carols by Candlelight for Variety

Langley Park

Perhaps Perth’s most classic carols event, the 73rd year of IGA Carols by Candlelight will feature performances from singer/songwriter Damien Leith, The Voice of Australia winner Harrison Craig, actress and singer Yasmin Kassim. Children’s entertainment kicks off from 3pm with a Peppa Pig show, food trucks and more. The carol singalong starts at 6:50pm and completes with fireworks. Get down early to make sure you catch all the family fun.

Candlelight Carols on South Beach

Swim, sing and picnic your way into Christmas with this festive carol session at Fremantle’s South Beach. The Libby Hammer Quintet and Arcadian Voices Choir will be on hand to lead the singing, while audiences can enjoy live entertainment and food stalls from 6pm. Does your family dog loves carols? Bring your loyal companion to South Beach or North Coogee dog beaches to get into the Christmas spirit too!

UWA Christmas Concert

Whitfield Court UWA Dec 20, from 6pm The UWA Conservatorium of Music presents many concerts throughout the year. One of the great and FREE performances is its Christmas Concert. Acclaimed staff from the School of Music including pianist Caroline Badnall, baritone Andrew Foote (MC), Shaun Lee-Chen (violin) Alan Lourens (euphonium), soprano Sara Macliver and Ashley William Smith (clarinet) along with the UWA Vocal Consort, Brass Ensemble and Community Choir will perform carols and songs for the whole family, Please pack a picnic and bring the whole family!
