Whether for breakfast or late-night drinks, Perth’s 30+ rooftop bars are the perfect place to enjoy the heat of summer and a refreshing sea breeze with drink in hand and a dazzling view. We compiled a list of all 30 and highlighted a selection of must-visit locations for this summer.

Lucky Chan’s, Northbridge

Disguised as a laundromat, the multi-level eatery and quirky rooftop bar remains a firm favourite with locals for dinner and drinks. The rooftop bar is open to walk-ins but has limited seating, our advice is to get there before 7pm and settle in.

As a part of its ongoing thematic pop-up series, every three months, Lucky Chan’s takes on a new look and matching drinks menu. The latest addition is ‘Mr. Big’, featuring all the hotspots of New York City and a night in the city that never sleeps.

Open Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, from 5.00pm till late.

Oyster Bar, Elizabeth Quay

For lovers of oysters, caviar, champagne and a view of the water, the Oyster Bar in Elizabeth Quay has all the answers.

Accompanied with an intimate atmosphere and sophisticated design, it’s the perfect place to impress a date for a sunset dinner. We recommend spoiling them on one of the special nights, discounted Oysters and Happy Hour are available from Wednesday to Friday.

Open Monday to Sunday, 11.00am till 9.00pm.

Storehouse, Subiaco

Storehouse on top of the Vibe Hotel is one of Perth’s most stylish rooftop bars, providing a stunning view across the treetop of Perth without the chaos of the CBD. Storehouse opened at the same time as the hotel and remains one of the lesser-known rooftop bars, preferring to cater to guests and in-the-know locals. Open from breakfast to late, the restaurant provides meals and the extensive covered balcony area is ideal for sunset drinks. As a new experience for most, it’s also a great place for functions.

Open Tuesday to Saturday, 4.00pm till late.

Hadiqa, Hibernian Place

Looking to escape the concrete jungle? Hadiqa transports you into a garden sanctuary. Offering a Mediterranean oasis in Perth, be prepared for regular appearances from belly dancers and snake handlers, along with a spicy menu. A night at Hadiqa is nothing less than exciting. Grab a quiet drink before your dinner reservation or wait until later hours if you’re wanting to catch the special performances.

Their Turkish Delight Martinis have made them significantly popular in recent months. For the month of December, they’re offering the sought-after martini in the form of a Christmas Tree, perfect for group outings.

Open Tuesday, Saturday 4.00pm till 12.00am and Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 12.00pm till 12.00am.

HI-LINE, Crown Towers Perth

HI-LINE always manages to generate a large crowd on the weekends, making it the perfect place to mingle and have more than a couple of drinks. With a spacious terrace and plenty of outdoor seating, it’s the perfect way to enjoy a night with friends without feeling like you’re taking up too much room. The bar mainly picks up later in the evening, with a limited menu, it’s best for post-dinner drinks to continue the night.

Thankfully, for the indecisive, they offer a cocktail tasting paddle that features their four most popular drinks for the season.

Open Thursday to Sunday, 4pm till late.
