Well known for her involvement in Taste of the Gascoyne, Good Food and Wine Show, Margaret River Gourmet Escape, Taste Great Southern and Perth Royal Show, seasoned chef Riki Kaspi is the mastermind behind The Cooking Professor.
In 2016, Riki and her team launched an exciting business venture with the opening of their new Mt Hawthorn New York-style warehouse space and modern commercial kitchen, purpose-built with a full suite of quality equipment. This enables the business to provide a comprehensive range of services including private dining, long table dining with chefs cooking in action, cocktail celebrations, venue hire, live jazz music, masterclass events, public cooking classes, private group classes, and the hire of two state-of-the-art kitchens.
In addition, Riki also operates her Riki Kaspi Spice Journey and Perth Kitchen Hire businesses under the same roof, which emulate the cooking school's mission for excellence in education, entertainment, and socialisation.
Everything you need is in one location, including wait staff and a state-of-the-art sound system. Clients have the flexibility to style the event themselves or have The Cooking Professor team take care of all the event preparations.

Numbers | The venue can cater for formal sit-down events of up to 40 people or larger cocktail-style events accommodating up to 65 people.
Food | For your event, you can pick from: a Moroccan feast, comprising tajines, chermoulas, couscous, amazing side dishes and syrup-drenched sweets; Spanish, featuring tapas, paellas, and of course, chocolate-dipped churros; or rustic Italian with pasta making. If you choose a cocktail-style event, dine upon delicious morsels and food piled high on platters. All the menus can be tailored to suit your occasion and dietary requirements.
