Looking for some fun events for the kids this Easter? From outdoor adventures to treasure hunts, there is plenty happening in and around Perth during the April break this year. So, gather the kids and hop to these fun-filled events this Easter season!

 

Easter Morning Fun Cruise

On Sunday April 21st, depart Perth at 10am and enjoy a fun morning cruise along the Swan River with Captain Cook. For the kids, there will be an egg decorating station, Easter baskets with treats and even a visit from the Easter Bunny! Hot cross buns and breakfast pastries will also be served on board. Easter Wonderland in Rockingham

Held from April 19th – 21st at the Dixon Road Oval, Rockingham’s Easter Wonderland promises to deliver a fun-filled Easter extravaganza. With five sessions across the weekend to choose from, children will be able to participate in a variety of games, activities and stage shows. There will also be plenty of food and drink options for the family to choose from.

 

Easter Saturday & Sunday Bilby Fun

Join Kanyana Wildfire Rehabilitation Centre and have fun with real-life bilbies this Easter! The centre is running Easter programs on April 20th and 21st, where kids can join the Discovery Centre hunt to learn about the bilby, where it lives in Australia and other fun facts. Those attending will need to wear enclosed footwear and bookings are essential, get tickets here.

 

Children’s Easter Day at Peninsula Farm

The National Trust of Western Australia are hosting a Children’s Easter Day for the whole family on the April 20th, where participants will have the chance to explore the delights of the Peninsula Farm located on the banks of the Swan River. Children will also be able to participate in Easter crafts and, for a small entry free, join the treasure hunt to collect coveted chocolate prizes.

 

Easter Disco in Coogee

Get ready to dance the night away this Easter with Coogee Beach Surf Life Saving Club’s Easter Disco on April 24th! Two discos will be held from 6pm to 8pm: a junior disco for children aged 4 to 9 and a silent disco for the older kids. There will also be a bar and kitchen available from 5:30pm. Tickets start at $5 and will need to be purchased prior to the event, call (08) 9494 1433 to get yours.
