This Saturday is World Gin Day, a time for celebrating all things gin, so we thought we’d help you out by jazzing things up. You’ve probably had classic a G&T before, but we have something a bit more creative in mind. Here is where you can find the perfect drink to celebrate World Gin Day in the Perth CBD.


Watch the city skyline sparkle to life at the Aurora Rooftop Bar while you enjoy their very own gin range. A breath of fresh air, each gin is named and tastes like real winds from around the world. The Aurora Borealis caught our attention by using the exclusive ‘Bora’ gin from their house range – infused with strawberry and rose cordial, grapefruit, and a house hibiscus infusion.



Long Chim

A jewel in the basement of the State Buildings, Long Chim has perfected their authentic street food approach, complete with a Thai-infused cocktail list. If you are feeling adventurous, the Thai Basil Smash may surprise you with its spicy edge, made with a bold mixture of gin, Thai basil and chili.



The Flour Factory

This refurbished old flour mill has a 14m-long bar, so it’s not surprising that they have over 100 gins for you to work your way through. If you’re too indecisive to pick just one, spin the gin wheel! You’ll pay $12 regardless of what gin you draw, and the rest is left to the bartenders. Our recommendation: the Gin Gin Paloma – it comes with a garnish of ruby red grapefruit, black peppercorn and rosemary.



W Churchill

After something classier? This is the spot for you. Located right in the CBD on St Georges Terrace, not only do they have over 100 gins to pick from, but plenty of live music, heart-warming food, and outstanding customer service. All five of their gin and tonics are appealing, but why not go local with the West Winds Cutlass, made with capsicum, kiwi, bush tomato, and fever tree Indian tonic.




Right off the main drag in Northbridge, you’ll find a small bar with a large heart made of gin. There are 8 different kinds of G&T to pick from, plus an impressive cocktail list. If you’re in the mood to mix up your order, try the Lavender & Cucumber with Uncle Vals Botanical, or the funky Four Pillars Christmas Gin with Cinnamon and Orange.
